We’ve got a few retreats coming up, and I’ve been getting a lot of people asking me the same question. So I thought I’d answer it.
The question is: what ROI can I expect on my book?
And it’s a fair enough question, since it is an investment of time and money.
So, what is possible with a book?
1. CREATE A MOVEMENT
This is one of my favourite. Throughout history, people have followed great books containing great ideas. Just look at the timeless power of the great religious texts.
Some of our book writers have created incredible movements from their books. You have probably seen Michele Jones “LYBL” Movement that is going gangbusters. Her book has and continues to inspire people around the world to “Live Your Best Life“. Her LYBL book is the foundation piece for her movement.
2. LAUNCH NEXT LEVEL
According to Forbes Magazine, 81% of the population want to write a book. Every year, only 0.001% actually succeed in that task. If you are one of the few who do, compared to the many that talk, then there’s big rewards on the table for you.
Whether you’re just starting out, have a few clients, or are making $10k, $20k, $50k or more a month, a book is a key structural piece that will give you the authority and credibility to leverage yourself to the next level.
3. POSITION AS AUTHORITY
With so many coaches and experts out there these days, you can’t afford to be a nobody. You need to be publishing content, and claim your position as the expert in your space. As my good friend Agostino Carrideo says, there’s nothing like the THUD FACTOR when your book lands on the CEO’s desk to get their attention!
4. LAUNCH INTERNATIONALLY
Have you ever dreamed of taking your business international? Since you get distributed on global online platforms, you have the potential to take your business into overseas markets.
Inspirational Book Writer Samantha Riley did exactly this, with her book “The Heart Of Entrepreneurship”
She hates the Australian winter, so decided to use her book to launch herself into the USA. She now does business in the USA during their summer, thereby avoiding the Australian winter and living an endless summer! Pretty cool.
5. DO A BIG BOOK LAUNCH + SELL SELL SELL
BOOM!! HERE IT IS!!
If you want to take the #1 Amazon best-seller spot, and knock the big names off that #1 position, you absolutely can. Dane Tomas, one of our repeat clients, sold 1000 copies in 48 hours during his launch of his book, Clear Your Shit. In doing so, he knocked a current New York Times Best-Seller from the Amazon charts, AND he sold out his training program 6 months in advance.
Can you imagine what having over 1000 eyeballs on your stuff would do for your business?
6. CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
A book is like a free access pass that can open doors to a huge range of opportunities for you – speaking gigs, expo and trade show appearances, podcast interviews, media opportunities and more. Whatever your goals, whether they be big and world changing or you just want to get your story out and celebrate with your closest family and friends and clients, there are loads of opportunities.
