I do a lot of speaking, and at the conferences, the speakers always had books. I wondered, are they getting paid more because they have books?”

I wanted to write a book that was really powerful and an important message. On the 3 year anniversary of a violent crime I’d been the victim of, I knew if I didn’t turn this story of rage into something positive, it was literally going to rot me from the inside.

It was only 3 weeks prior to book retreat. It might sound like not much time, but the universe threw it at me at the exact time. People were coaching me, mentoring me, feeding me, on the island book retreat. The retreat environment was amazing.

The highlight was the night of my ebook launch. OMG its WORKING! I was awake the entire night just buzzing! Far out, I have just stepped into a whole new chapter of my life. That night was such a tipping point for things. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. I still have the screenshot of me ahead of Tony Robbins, Simon Sinek (on the Amazon Best-Sellers List).

Sydney Bridge Climb found out, on International Women’s Day, with the influencers from media, sports and politics. So many amazing things came from that. The Sydney Morning Herald were waiting to interview me about the book. The NSW Government selected me as one of the inspirational women in business, we had the media launch, and I got invited to speak in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane at an event to over 1000 people! Incredible!

Some celebrities requested my book – Melissa Doyle, Debrah Hutton, Sarah Murdoch. Melissa referred her to another speaking gig. These crazy things just keep happening.

The book has given a massive improvement to my speaking profile. It has been positioned to lead to other things. It creates a lot of conversation with people who want to do business with me.

When you do a process like what you offer Dave, it supports you at all the points along the way, if you don’t do it, you will continue to beat yourself up.
