Author of I Did Something Different… And It Worked

Nicole Mclellan is a teacher, yoga instructor and founder of The OmWork Project, a not-for-profit organisation assisting young women with scholarships to do yoga teacher training. She came to us with a big message that she wanted the world to hear. Her #1 best selling book was the catalyst that fuelled the launch of her not-for-profit, along with speaking engagements, and a popular online YouTube show for Teens.

Kind words from the author…

|

As a teacher, I wanted to effect more, because there’s only me and one classroom of teenagers. I wanted to find a way to get myself out on a broader scope. My instincts were screaming at me to write the book, I asked myself: WHY ARE YOU KEEPING THIS IN?

The book has been a catalyst for Teen Talks (an online show for teens), The OmWork Project and a heap of other cool stuff since. Teen Talks video after the book launched got 100,000 views – it blew up! My not-for-profit, The OmWork Project, was birthed from the book – it has blown up. It’s a registered non-profit, it has a board of directors, and we hold big events. I’m also doing speaking gigs.
